During the Independence Day festivities, a video of a guy climbing on a qingqi rickshaw on Lahore’s Circular Road and forcefully kissing a woman went viral on the internet. On social media, the video sparked considerable outrage and contempt.
The CIA Ghaziabad has arrested two additional suspects in the Nankana Sahib case, according to Lahore police. So far, four suspects have been arrested on suspicion of harassing the woman.
According to police, videos acquired from both suspects have been submitted for forensic testing.
The video footage shows two women with a kid sitting between them in the back of a Qingqi rickshaw on Lahore’s Circular Road. The women were clearly upset when they saw a pair of motorcycles hounding the rickshaw, catcalling and leering at them.
According to the footage, a guy got into the rickshaw out of nowhere and forcefully kissed the woman. She and the woman next to her shouted in surprise, but no one interfered.
One of the women removed her footwear and threatened to run over a motorcycle with it. At one point, the harassed woman became very angry and attempted to exit the rickshaw in despair, but was prevented by her friend.

After the video went viral on social media, a case was opened at the Lari Adda police station on the basis of a station house officer’s (SHO) complaint, and police were given a video of the event.
According to the FIR, 10-12 “morally undisciplined” males on motorbikes harassed two women riding in a Qingqi rickshaw with a kid in between them.
The case has been registered under Sections 354 (assault or criminal force on a woman with the intent to outrage her modesty), 511 (punishment for attempting to commit offences punishable with life imprisonment or a shorter term), 294 (obscene acts and songs), 509 (ii) (word, gesture, or act intended to insult a woman’s modesty), 147 (punishment for rioting), and 149 (every member of unlawful

On the other side, on August 28, an identification parade for the 104 suspects arrested in the Greater Iqbal Park harassment case would take place.
A court in Lahore has ordered the district superintendent to finish the preparations for the identification parade.
