In Islamabad, Pakistan’s first e-taxi service was established.

The first eco-friendly cab for Pakistan’s north was unveiled to support Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Clean Green Pakistan initiative.

Malik Amin Aslam, SAPM on Climate Change, inaugurated e-Taxi in Islamabad.

Using e-taxi would save Pakistan $2 billion in oil imports, according to Aslam, and benefit drivers.

A spokesman from the manufacturer claimed the tax could go 250km once completely charged.

Two charging stations will be put up in Islamabad and Murree.
