Mohammad Pervaiz Malik, a senior PML-N politician and MNA, died of cardiac problems.
According to sources, the legislator, a veteran PML-N leader who had been elected five times from Lahore, had been unwell for quite some time and was also seeking treatment for his condition.
Following the 2018 General Elections, he was elected as the party’s MNA from Lahore’s NA-133 seat.
In addition, he was the party’s president in Lahore.
Shaista Pervaiz Malik, Malik’s wife, and their son, Ali Pervaiz Malik, are also MNAs.
On news of Pervaiz Malik’s death, PML-N MPA Hina Pervaiz Butt expressed her condolences, describing him as a genuine buddy of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
