Actor Naumaan Ijaz stated that singer Atif Aslam would perform in Saife Hasan’s Sang-e-Mah for his TV playing debut.
Sangs-e-Mah is the sequel to Kubra Khan, Sania Saeed, Ijaz and Mikaal Zulfiqar from the 2016 Sang-e-Mar Mar.
The actor claimed he was in Islamabad, shooting for Sang-e-Mah in a video posted by Ijaz. You all liked Sang-e-Mar Mar and I know that you would also adore Sang-e-Mah, he added. He said. The actor then named additional cast members and told Atif Aslam, Saviyar, Sania Saeed, Samiya Mumtaz, Kubra Khan and Hania Aamir that he was filming.
“Take care, live long, bless God all Pakistanis, bless all Pakistanis, bless all of them,” he added.
Aslam has been extremely reluctant to take action. He told the BBC Haroon Rashid in a recent interview that he was looking for the perfect screenplay. “People might see me in a conversation on TV,” he had taunted.
He also batted off, however, rumours about his debut in TV acting. “I’ve also heard the rumours, but I don’t know,” he chuckled. Aslam, along with Mahira Khan, Humaima Malik, and Iman Aly, was also seen in 2011’s Bol.
Rumors had already circulated about Aslam making his TV acting debut in the series, neither the production team nor the artist himself never verified it.
